Remote Get Out The Vote!
To balance self and community care around the Coronavirus with the urgent need to get people to the polls for Kim Foxx, Bernie Sanders and downballot candidates, The People’s Lobby has decided to do almost all our GOTV work via remote phone banking.

Here’s what you will need to phone bank from home:
- a desk top computer or laptop
- a reliable internet connection
- a smart phone
We’ll be using Zoom for training, debriefing and creating a sense of community as we work from home. If you’re new to this technology, don’t worry, we’ll help you out!
All GOTV shifts start at the following times:
Please be on time (or early if you need to install Zoom) so that the trainers can give us the info we need all at once.
Saturday, March 14: 10 am to 2pm AND 2pm to 6 pm (EXCEPT Oak Park, which starts Sunday.)
Sunday, March 15, 12:00pm to 4 pm AND 4 pm to 8 pm (EXCEPT Chicago Wards 1, 40, 50!)
Monday, March 16, 6 pm to 9 pm (EXCEPT Chicago Wards 1, 40, 50!)
Tuesday, March 17, 10 am to 2 pm AND 2 pm to 5 pm AND 5 pm to 6:30 pm

You don’t have to be from one of these areas to participate! You can call from anywhere, but we’ll be breaking into these groups to call voters about specific candidates.
